First ever attempt at anything to do with sewing that wasn't putting a patch onto pants.

My friend commented to me that we should give each other a present for Valentine's Day, and I got to thinking about it. She's probably going to forget it, but after looking at some posts on LJ, I decided to try my hand at modifying a bag. I would have made one, but I'm not all that good at simple things, so giving that a go would have been a disaster.

I'd really love some advice & tips on how to improve so pleasepleaseplease check it out.










Inside.

The heart, name and pocket are made from an old bandana of mine that I never wear anymore. The inside lining is from a tote bag that I tore apart and the bag is from the Easter Show and it was falling apart, so I did repairs on it and then did everything else.
