craftgrrl | The ubiquitous last-minute scramble

Well, it's more pictures of my Rosa costume and general nerdiness XD I'm so in love with this costume, and I get to wear it in a week!!! This is *incredibly* image heavy, beware if you have a slow connection!

The Yoshitaka Amano artwork I've been using as reference...keep in mind my costume is mostly an original creation that is only very loosely based on this ^^

The crown...quite a bit upside down, sorry about that ^^ It was drying and I didn't want to disturb it. Hopefully you get the gist of it?

What will eventually be some knee armour. Just the basic shapes with gems stuck on temporarily with bits of Fimo to figure out good placement!

A half-done wig...I'm kind of embarrassed to post it, but I like the way the finished curls look so far!

The entire costume minus giant cape, shoulder and knee armour, wig, and crown. So minus a lot, but this is the sewing aspect :P P.S. Yes I am wearing white tights, but it wouldn't matter if I wasn't coz I'm ghostly anyway, as evident by my arms and chest

Annnnnd lastly the costume collage I've been making as I go along! It's not exactly "crafty" but I think it's nifty so...I'm...posting it. Yuup.
