craftgrrl | I like big buckles and I cannot lie

I collect large tacky belt buckles........
However I have stored them jumbled in a large ziplock baggie, which is not good for them as they are heavy and bump into one another.
So I solve this problem last night with my my 'badass buckle buddy'

Made out of cotton flannel for sturdiness and extra padding.
Has three button closure loops on the top so I can hang it on a hanger in my closet, or take it off and store it wherever.
Added on the vinyl applique eyes just because.....

Has space for 20 buckles, velcro closure (in eyesearing white since it was between that and beige)
True I could have gone without a front flap closure but it keeps dust out of the pockets and there's less chance of buckles coming out if I take it travelling with me.

About 2 1/2 hours start to finish, between drawing up the specs with the measurements, cutting, and of course sewing.
