craftgrrl | Help me get my roses through customs!

I'm trying to decide what to do with my Valentines Day roses, and have just spent the last half hour browsing the memories for ideas. There are some really great suggestions in there, but I haven't found "the one" for me yet.

I thought I'd put out a call to other craftgrrl'ers and find out what everybody else is doing with them. I'm very limited by the fact that I'm overseas, and need to get them back through customs in 2 weeks time. Australian customs is very strict about plant matter, and I don't want to take too many risks. Ordinarily I'd press them and keep them in my journal, but I think that's asking to have it consfiscated.

The rose bead idea from earlier today is probably the best one I've heard - if they do attract attention, I can always say they were bought at a store. Has anybody else come up with a clever way of preserving roses?
