For Valentine's day I gave my boy something he was allowed to beat the crap out of.




My pinata bones. I popped so many ballons trying to force them into a heart shape, it's not even funny.


I went with the good old nasty flour paste method for my paper mache. It worked really well, I only used 3 layers of newspaper and it was solid but still brittle enough to break when it needed to. I let it dry overnight, then used a gluestick to tack on fluffy strips of tissue paper.

I filled it with a couple bags of hershey's kisses and had it hanging when he got home, then handed him a baseball bat and let him go to town. He loved it!
