Bodice knife that needed hilt covered and a sheath created.
Hilt Wrap: 1 oz vegtan leather strip beveled on the edges. The I soaked it in water and, while wet, stretched it slightly and wrapped it around the hilt. A dab of contact cement on the end makes it secure. When it dried the leather shrank a bit to make the hilt wrap very tight and smooth.
Sheath: 1 oz vegtan leather cut to shape. Tooled design tinted with acrylic. Stitching not desired as it might irritate the skin. Bonded edges with contact cement.




Red Daisy Collar and earrings
I found this faux leather daisy trim at JoAnn on clearance for 10 cents a yard. Made a sewn black leather collar and attached the trim with rivets. For the earrings I cut apart the daisies and glued them together over a short length of black mini curb chain. A small glass bead was glued into the center.
