These are some but not all of the new Octo pendants. If it would just quit raining I could start on more :)



I have been venturing into new media. Mold making with resin has held my interest for some time. So, I decided to make my own molds. Sheesh, what a pain to figure out what will and will not work.

It has been an interesting and somewhat expensive learning process with very mixed results. These pendants I absolutely fell in love with. My husband walked by when I was putting on the final touches, and said the colors reminded him of jelly beans. We were calling them octojellies but it just doesn't roll off the tongue very well. So, I'll come up with a name one of these days.










What do you think? Any comments on improvements would be much appreciated :)

Edit: I should have added this in earlier. The pendants/charms were purchased from fancifulsinc.com. They give permission to make as many as you want from a mold. Even better there are instructions on how to make a couple of types of mold as well.
