craftgrrlNew to the site, so forgive me if I'm doing this WRONG - did a lot of searching (web, this site, links FROM this site) and I can't seem to find a pattern for these!

Maybe it's too simple! I know I can just make a long tube, gather it, and put elastic on the ends. I just want to look at some better ideas, because I'm not getting how it might attach to the lamp so it doesn't slide down all the time! I don't wanna use the obvious options (velcro stickies, hot glue, etc.) cuz that'll mess up the lamp itself...
