Bridal Shower Favor Suggestions

craftgrrlOkay, I'm new to the craftiness. I've done a few PC-based scrapbooks and the like.
In August, I'm throwing a bridal shower for my friend (she's getting married in October). We've already decided on a "recipe" theme for the shower. With invites, I'll be sending recipe cards for everyone to fill out and bring with them to the shower. She wants to focus more on the getting together of friends and family than gifts, so that's where the recipe idea came along. She loves to cook and her FH loves to eat (LOL).
Anyways, I'm stuck on ideas on what to give as favors. I was thinking something cookie-related, since I love to bake, but I'm not sure if that would be appropriate. I want to do something fun and creative, something people will enjoy.
Any ideas would be great. I'm trying to figure out now, so I can start "practicing".
Oh, and only 18 people MAX are going to be invited, not including me and the B2B :)
