I've decided to become the unofficial guiena pig when it comes to those handheld sewing machines that everyone is talking about. I saw one at Target for Ten bucks and plan on buying it after work today. I will post my results later.

This weekend i plan on:

making a pair of earrings using precious stones and copper wire based on a pair i saw in vogue.

making my skirt made out of ties. (the true test of the handy stitch machine.

restringing some necklaces that broke, only using fishing line this time.

and making a cute summer dress. yet another test of the handy stitch.

I figure if it is a bust, i am only out ten bucks, which i would have spent on booze and frozen desserts anyway.
