I need some help with a sort-of T-shirt quilt.
My school's really amazing drama teacher/director is leaving at the end of this year to go teach in London(!). I was planning on making her a scrapbook, but I found out there are many other people with the same idea. I have a lot of left over fabric from shows and I would like to make a quilt using them and our show shirts.  The problem is that I have only one incomplete set of shirts from the shows she has directed and I don't want to cut them up yet (also, I want my own quilt of HS shows I've participated in).  How do I get the graphics from the shirts onto fabric that I can quilt.  Any ideas?
So this isn't text only:
A zippered bag I made for my mom's phone stuff (charger, wireless headset thing, etc.)
And a purse I made out of a garage sale silk table runner:
