sewing machine help
Jun. 4th, 2007 09:33 pmToday I made curtains. I was almost done, just had one more side to seam up and I ran out of bobbin thread. I fixed that and then sewed a few more inches, every thing was fine. I stopped for a second, went to start again, and the needle won't go all the way down. When I try to hand crank it, the needle barely passed the feeder things and locks at a certain point. The machine won't even run, it is almost like someone put a lock on the needle. (i hope this makes sense)
We took apart the whole machine and nothing is jammed. No thread is blocking anything. This is a new machine. I have had about 6 months and nothing has ever gone wrong. Does anyone know why it would do this? I don't have the money to get it fixed right now. I am hoping one of you brilliant peeps will know what is wrong, so I can fix it myself.
