crafty weekend, ahoy
Jun. 9th, 2007 05:21 pmSo, I've been crafting like mad for a HUGE family gathering on Sunday to celebrate two birthdays, one graduation, Father's Day, and my parents anniversary.
My wrists/hands in general are KILLING ME.
Question: how do all you crafters keep from getting crazy carpal tunnel? I'm already getting arthritis in all my joints (knowledge learned thanks to my doctor!) but...sheesh, that's not gonna stop me from being a crafty gal.
Hand-drawn with ink and coloured with pencil crayons :) It was sooo fun to do...but turned out smaller than I'd been imagining. I guess I should use a larger sheet next time...:P But oh well, I like it's tiny delicate goodness!

Another hand-drawn pendant...this time of a little rabbit! I made this into a lariet style necklace using this crazy thick chain, and liked how it turned out so I kept it as is. I love bunnies :)

I'm about to start on a painting for my sister, finish a pinata for my niece, and attach pendants I made to ribbon necklaces for them....ahh! lol
btw, thanks to the craftgrrl, who's username I cannot recall right this second, that posted a Boots Pinata awhile ago - I totally stole the idea just for my niece..lol

It's quite huge and I don't have enough candy for it!
