Black, red and white. That's all the color you ever need to look good ;) ...

#1:

This project was by far the most time-consuming clothing I ever made for said festival. It was also the first time ever that I wore a hoop skirt ;) .
The entire outfit #1
The entire outfit #2

I made the two skirts. The corset is off the rack, the hoop skirt was borrowed of a dear friend and the top hat was a flea market find.

Both skirts are half circles in shape.
The red underskirt is made from an IKEA curtain, of all things :) . The fabric is some synthetic fibre, but looks like the most expensive silk. A rather understated black venise lace trim has been added to the hem.
You can make out the fabric's structured look and the lace quite nicely on this one.

The overskirt is made from several yards of fishnet fabric. It's attached to a pointy-shaped, broad wristband made of wash leather, onto which I sewed two rows of the venise lace. The fishnet's been gathered at the sides. At the hem, I added dozens of beads and scraps of fabric and connected about one ball of wool worth of fringes by knotting, crocheting and macramee. This task alone took me two nights, but I think it was well worth the effort; I love that overkirt dearly and have already combined it beautifully with several of my "regular" long black skirts.

Not 100% finished yet on this picture.

I'm the lady in white. :)

This outfit was mainly created to accompany the venise lace choker and wristbands a friend and me had made several weeks before WGT.

I designed and sewed both the wraparound shirt and the skirt. Both are made from crinkled tulle, which I immediately associated with "insane ghost bride" when I found it at the store.

The shirt ties in the back to give it somewhat of a straight jacket look. The sleeves are about 20 cm longer than usual, tapered at the wrist and cover half of the back of my hands.
The shirt...
...and its details.

The skirt is a simple fishtail pattern. No frills and adornments, for the fabric itself is enough of an eye catcher. Just like with the sleeves, I did not hem the skirt on purpose. I was afraid that the fabric would fall less soft if I did, and I would not mind if the garments dissolved a little, given time and wear. It would actually add to the look quite nicely.

I also made the skirt and shirt my fiancé wears in the picture above, but I do not have any detailled pictures of the two at the moment.

Thanks for your attention, I hope you liked my stuff :).
