A friend of mine loves rubber duckies. She has a birthday coming up, so I had this idea.I drew my ducks on shrinky dink plastic, unaware of exactly how small they would get. I did NOT punch a hole beforehand. I ended up buying a dremel tool engraver's bit to make holes in the ducks. I also colored in my ducks with watercolor pencils, having nothing else handy. I had to apply a coat of spray varnish to them, to seal in the pencil. Lessons to be learned are:

1. Shrinky dinks get way smaller than you think
2. Drill holes before baking said shrinky dinks
3. It's probably not a great idea to use watercolor pencils on shrinky dinks.
