painting and pin..ing :P
Jun. 21st, 2007 07:01 pmA couple weeks ago, I posted about making a painting for my sister's birthday/graduation...here it is:

It's a crappy quality picture (the lighting, angle, etc) ...but ya. It was neat. Four seperate square panels...the first 'layer' of the ground it scrunched up tissue paper glued on, then painted.

It's about 2.5 inches tall. The center is painted polymer clay. I suck at handsewing...and/or embroidery :P
Updated to add the back:

I attached the pin to the clay before I had decided to put it onto the felt/lace combo....so, I had to make a slit in the felt, stick the pin part through and sew up the back of it. I also had to put it off to the side because the pin wasn't centered on the clay....but I think it came out nicely.
Am I annoying everyone with all my new projects? (sorry if I am!) :)
