Long Time Coming

So yes, I used to have a custom baby quilt business and it's been YEARS since I've done anything with it, I was that burned out. A year or so ago, I simply had to start something, which I did. I layered it ready to be quilted, and then threw it in the box for an upcoming move. I have now retrieved the poor wrinkled thing from it's box, will redo the sandwich and finally, FINALLY finish it.
It will be free motion quilted in hot pink thread, with a checkerboard binding. I'll for sure post pics when it's done. But here it is, wrinkled and distorted (it's actually perfectly square in real life!), the the FIRST QUILT I'VE PIECED IN YEARS!.
I'm one of those weirdos who can't do a kid's quilt without checkerboard fabric, and I can't do anything else without a bit of leopard. I'm weird like that......
