Set Complete!
Jun. 28th, 2007 10:09 pmFor those of you who commented on the bibs, thank you so much! I really didn't expect such a massive positive response. Now I guess I just have to figure out marketing.
I took the suggestions to create pouches to carry the bibs, and started with a Ladies' Dinner Set. This is my first purse/bag/thing ever, but it can hold the folded bib, the glasses case, and still have about half the interior space left over for medicines or anything else.
For the Gents' Dinner Set, I'm currently thinking a buttoned "envelope" style pouch for the bib with an outside pocket for glasses...cuz I just don't know how to make a hanky look right right now (no rolled hem foot.) Maybe the "envelope" style won't seem too girly/purse-ish.
My first purse!

Inside: Packed with Bib and Glasses Case

To match this bib

I also really loved the idea to make a tuxedo and evening dress couple's set. I'll see about the gown one tonight, but I'll have to wait on the tux one (the easier one) until I find white vinyl...
