knitting from a non-knitter?
Jul. 9th, 2007 12:24 amtoday was raining, i know this because i went for a walk in the bush and got stuck far from home as it drenched me and i feared for my camera and my ipod...
so i did something productive when i returned and i began to knit a beanie. i made the beanie a while ago from the pattern but yes, you guys weren't joking, the pattern was massive!!! so i ended up unraveling it and today tackled it again making it smaller.
please excuse my stoopid take a picture of myself pose.
*
there's another pic of the beanie and a scarf
*

(it has 5 panels)
i got the pattern from here:
http://knitty.com/ISSUEsummer05/PATTtychus.html
and just did it smaller. much smaller.
*

and this i started about five years ago and finally decided to finish it last week... it isn't how i wanted it as i ran out of pink, but atleast it's finished!!! though i don't know what to do with the colour change stringy things, i don't knit much and i think that was my first colour change knitting thing. suggestions? i know you can weave them in. ok. that's probably my only option, that or leave them. meh!
