i've gone on a rather odd rampage lately - making crocheted octopus, namely. octopi? the super easy pattern can be found here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=114316.0
they still need eyes. and i really like the little bow the gal used, so that might be an addition. a bowtie for one of them, perhaps? i'm going to make a set of three chenille ones for my friend's 30th birthday. because everyone needs a little octopi love, right? right.
this was the test with just some random yarn i had lying around.

octopus attack!

the chenille made an awfully nice little octopus. i'm going to make another in turquoise and another in a plum purple.

and for giggles, an octopus hat.

fin!
