I made a monster

My boyfriend had surgery this morning, so I spent my evening making him a monster to snuggle with while he heals.





I made him from red fleece with felt eyes, nose, and horns. Embroidered mouth.



I hand sewed the eyes, nose, and mouth, but assembled the body by machine. I haven't used a machine in forever and it was a nice treat.

I embroidered "Love you" on a cotton heart and sewed it onto his bum. Cute huh?



He's more than a foot and half tall, and big around so he's good for snuggles. I haven't named him yet. I think I'll leave that to the boyfriend.
