plus a senior ball.
and you get an amazing night.
over a year later....
take those pictures.
add a deviant artist.
plus your sewing skills.
and you get a
i've been a deviantart member for years.
and have always watched a certain artist's work

and finally gave in and have her do a commission.
based off two pictures:

over a year ago obviously. :P
but still, the best night of my high school life.
and with those, she made

and i made this:

i had to BS the bag putting together.
because, well, i lost the second page of instructions.
so the bag is 89% my sewing (and hope that it works)
and 11% simplicity.
i used pattern #3822 view E
added in the picture
discarded the outside pocket(s)
changed the quilting on it from straight lines to cute squiggles
inside pockets still intact.
fudged the zipper like no other
i may have changed the straps.
but again, i dont know what they were originally supposed to be :P
and it has a piece of that plastic canvas stuff in the bottom
hopefully to keep it more upright.

oh, and the artwork is printed out on june taylor colorfast sew-in ink jet fabric sheets (a super wonderful creation, might i add)
