Do yall remember homer?

Well, i've finally got the pattern up!





All yarn is worsted weight. I honestly used what I had in my stash and didn’t bother matching brands or types of yarn. This was a stash busting project for me.

Color A – Yellow (I used Sunflower in caron perfect match)
Color B – White (I used a Perfect match or red heart, I lost the paper)
Color C – Blue (I used Blue Heather in lion brand Wool ease)
Color D – Black (I used black in caron simply soft)
Color E – Tan (I used Lace in caron perfect match)

Hook Size – F/5 or 3.75mm

Stuffing

Two plastic safety eyes

Stitch markers

Row Counter if you need it

----MAKE SURE YOU MARK THE BEGINNING OF EVERY ROW! THIS IS IMPORTANT!----

Part One – Head and body

-Color A- Chain 4 and join in a ring
-sc 6 into ring
-sc 2 into each st. (12)
-sc, sc 2 into next st. * around (18)
-sc 2, sc 2 into next st * around (24)

-Take COLOR D and put in two hairs at the top

-Return to crocheting!
-sc around
-sc 3, sc 2 into next st * around (30)
-sc for next 10 rows
-sc 3, sc 2 tog * around (24)
-sc around
-sc 2, sc 2 tog* around (18)
-sc for next 2 rows
-Stuff firmly

-Change to Color B

-sc around
-sc 2, sc 2 into next st * around (24)
-sc 3, sc 2 into next st * around (30)
-sc 4, sc 2 into next st * around (36)
-sc 5, sc 2 into next st * around (42)
-sc for next 8 rows
-sc 6, sc 2 into next st * around (48)
-sc 7, sc 2 into next st * around (54)
-sc 8, sc 2 into next st * around (60)
-sc 9, sc 2 into next st * around (66)
-sc 10, sc 2 into next st * around (72)
-sc for next two rows

-Change to Color C

-sc for 3 rows
-sc 10, sc 2 tog * around (66)
-sc 9, sc 2 tog * around (60)
-sc 8, sc 2 tog * around (54)
-sc 7, sc 2 tog * around (48)
-sc 6, sc 2 tog * around (42)
-sc 5, sc 2 tog * around (36)
-sc 4, sc 2 tog * around (30)
-sc 3, sc 2 tog * around (24)
-sc 2, sc 2 tog * around (18)
-sc 1, sc 2 tog * around (12)
-sc 2 tog * around (6)
-stuff firmly
-sc around
-slst 1
-finish off and fasten, weaving end into stuffed body.

-Part Two – LEGS (make two)

-Color D
-chain 3 and join into ring
-sc 5 into ring
-sc 2 into each st (10)
-sc 2 into each st (20)
-sc, sc 2 into next st * around (30)
-sc around for next 5 rows
-sc, sc 2 tog * around (20)
-sc around
-Change to Color C
-sc around for next 12 rows
-stuff
-fasten and leave long tail for sewing.
-whipstitch opening together so it is flat
-fasten and leave remainder of tail for sewing

-Part Three – ARMS (make two)

-Color A
-Chain 4 and join into ring
-sc 4 into ring
-sc 2 into each st (8)
-sc, sc 2 into next st * around (12)
-sc 2, sc 2 into next st * around (16)
-sc for next 8 rows
-Change to Color B
-sc for next 5 rows
-stuff
-fasten and leave long tail for sewing
-whipstitch opening together so it is flat
-fasten and leave remainder of tail for sewing

-Part Four – Mouth

-Color E
-chain 4 and join into ring
-sc 6 into ring
-sc 2 into each st (12)
-sc, sc 2 into next st * around (18)
-sc 2, sc 2 into next st * around (24)
-sc around
-slst and fasten leaving a long tail for sewing

-Part Five – Nose

-Color A
-chain 3 and join into ring
-sc 4 into ring
-sc, sc 2 into next st * around (6)
-sc 2, sc 2 into next st (8)
-sc 3, sc 2 into next st (10)
-sc around
-slst and fasten, leaving long tail for sewing

-Part Six – EYES (make two)

-Color B
-chain 3 and join into ring
-sc 5 into ring
-sc 2 into each st (10)
-sc, sc 2 into next st * around (15)
-sc 2, sc 2 into next st * around (20)
-slst and fasten, leaving long tail for sewing
-attach two safety eyes

Now you just have to assemble your Homer and sew all the pieces together and you have a Homer!



Lemme know if there are any mistakes anywhere. This is my first time writing a pattern. Hell, this is my first time to even crochet something without a pattern! lol
