craftgrrl | Help with finding patterns?

I thought I'd ask for a little help here. I've googled, looked through the memories, and surfed through sites like knitty and crochetme, and I can't find a good mesh bag pattern. I've got tons of cotton yarn, and I'd like to make some smallish bags for grabbing produce at the store, but all the patterns I've found are for large market bags.

Can anyone help? I'm crap at adapting patterns for crochet and knit, but any advice would be helpful.
