oh look, it's a first post!
Aug. 3rd, 2007 08:26 amMy first post here and sadly I don't have many awesome things to show. These are just some things I made last night and felt it was time to at least show my face instead of lurking. :-P I have a few longer projects that are incomplete (tie-skirt, quilt, cross-stitch projects) but these... these are quick and easy!
Oh.. and please excuse my particularly wretched phone-tography. Couldn't find the camera cord or the lap top. So our digital camera was useless. *sigh*

i know... it's blurry. these are earrings I don't wear, but felt like making. The brown pair is made from some beads and the red ones are needle tatted.

needle tatting with a size 7 needle.

needle tatting. size 3 needle. i like to thread some gold thread through one of the picots (tiny loops on the outside edge) and hang them on the christmas tree!

and of course, everybody's favorite, tape wallet! made from clear packaging tape, some neato magazine pages ( you can't see it in this picture, but there's a window with a statue and flowers on the outside of the wallet) and cardstock for the inside flaps.

and here's the cardstock flaps.. or pockets. this was my first attempt at this idea and i think it turned out ok.
