what do you do with a broken magic bag?
Aug. 10th, 2007 10:14 pmbroken magic bag, happy halter dress, bath salts and more!

my magic bag broke! i was devistated, crampy, and 4900 km from the lady who made it for me. whats a girl to do? improvise of course.

i had a pair of beloved above the knee socks. alas, the socker eater ate one of them. so i took the orphan sock, and a funnel. and turned it into my very own strechy wrappy stripey magic bag of awesomeness.

and after i did that i decided to organise my baking stuff, and behold! i had all the stuff to make bath salts!

this is my magical mixture, in need of drying out, due to dampness from adding scent. and rather than waiting a few days, i tossed it in the oven.

after it baked into a large lump of bath salt goodness, i haule dit out of the oven, attacked it with my pestle, and dumped it into its new home.

it was so fun i did it again, so that i now have two scents to agonize bewteen. strawberry mango, and vanilla berry.
and then yesterday i was bored and i had a sewing machine, and some fabric. some i whipped up a happy summer halter dress for my daughter.
