third time's a charm

This is the third time today I've tried to make a post. Maybe this time it'll work without me getting angry and threatening to delete my account!

Over the weekend, I made a couple things. The first is a lined zippered pouch which I found help from here. The fabric is a vintage fabric I bought at an estate sale of a lady who had owned a sewing shop.




Then I used a pattern from Sublime Stitching to make a set of embroidered cloth napkins. Instead of using a satin stitch for the cherries, I opted for red buttons instead. I like the added texture and depth they add. What a fancy way of saying, oo shiny! :-P




that is all...i'm tired of foolin with LJ and photobucket and myspace. I'm going to read and answer the phone..since that's what I'm being paid to do.
