Bleach and stencils
Aug. 28th, 2007 06:35 pmI finished my boyfriend's birthday present, and I'm so happy he's on the small side, because I'm definitely going to steal it.

I ended up throwing caution to the wind and tossing bleach at it (then stenciling over, then doing some freehand painting to make it fancier.)

The whiskers are my favorite part.

I didn't use a black shirt because I didn't want it to bleach to orange. Luckily, charcoal grey bleaches to a manly pink!
Also, I made myself a present, because I needed a shirt to experiment the technique on before I destroyed the ONLY SHIRT TARGET HAD IN MEN'S SMALL. (Wtf, Target.)
It actually turned out cooler than my boyfriend's shirt, but don't tell HIM that.

Anatomical hearts may be trendy, but it's for a good reason.
I resized a men's medium- it's the same material as the other shirt, but I thought it would be creepy to have the same exact style, too.

Kidneys yay!
Thanks for looking!
