Baggy baggy bag bags
Aug. 30th, 2007 05:13 amSo a local store, wittily named Local Shop Awesome, sells locally made (!) clothings, art accessories, etc. I talked to the guys there and they said they wanted some Man Bags. Here's what I came up with:

I call this one "Three Piece Suit". It's made from a hankerchief, wool, and a silk lining with a tie for a strap.

And what's a suit without a cigar? (I tried a pipe but they're SO hard to draw!)

The lining on this one is made of the same stripey blue stuff as on the small pocket on the front.

The tree is subtle. I like how it turned out. I heart fabric paint markers.
Here's a couple of zippered pouches I made (thanks again to whoever posted this). Going to make a lot more. Going to a festival this weekend and hoping to sell a few there.

Made this for a friend to specific dimensions.

I have all these little fabric sample squares, and found a zipper that fit them, so I made this out of four different squares.

Other side. The picture of the inside didn't turn out, but it's two other patterns in similar colour scheme.
Thanks for looking :)
