Removing fabric glue

This may turn out to be a silly question with an even sillier answer, but...is there a way that I can remove fabric glue from fabric?

I recently glued two pieces of twill together only to realize I made a mistake. One of the pieces has a cross-stitch design on it so I don't want to have to remake it. If possible I'd like to get the residue from the fabric glue off so I can start over. Thanks in advance!
