Crafternoon
Sep. 9th, 2007 11:01 pmI work for a public library and in October, I am hosting this event, the library's very first crafting event. Today I decided to rummage through my supplies and make a few samples of handmade journals. First I decided to decorate the new dayplanner that I bought -- it was butt ugly and in need of some help:

Then I deco'ed a miniature journal:

And finally, a regular journal:

That last one is probably my least favorite -- it isn't done as neatly as most of my journals usually are... I was using a different type of blank journal (usually I just use composition books) and my scissors were sticky... that combo made for some jagged edges. Still, I think they'll be good samples for people and I'm hoping that I can make two more samples before the actual event.
