craftgrrlSomebody in my crochet class said she'd seen ninja embroiderers with a placemat/lap cloth which is black on one side and white on the other for background contrast when working with very fine thread.
If you've ever tried to crochet fine white thread against a background of white tabletop you'll feel my pain.
Do we know what the name of such a cloth is? Are there patterns for one? Dimensions?
