Buttons & Mario scarf

I got a hold of some craft wire and went a little crazy with my buttons last week. I made a bunch of pendants and have worn a different one almost every day this week. I make no claims at being skilled in beading/jewelry making so I just twisted the wire to make a little loop at the top and strung them with embroidery floss. These are the first pendants I've ever made and I haven't decided how I feel about them. Sure are a lot of them, though, haha.

I also have an update on the Super Mario Bros. scarf. I went on a long roadtrip (Atlanta to San Jose, CA) and thought I would knit and knit and knit in the car, but I ended up getting carsick so no progress was made. Recently I realized that in order to get this done by... well, ever I needed to pick up the needles. So here's the progress... it's not far...



I've gotten to the second pipe in the level. Does that give any indication as to how freaking long this this will be??? Maybe this will end up being a wall hanging instead...




The tension on the clouds is too tight so I've decided to cross-stitch them in (along with the mushroom and turtle guys and the question marks on the boxes) and then felt the whole thing.
