window treatment?
Sep. 13th, 2007 07:27 pmHi all...
My parents just bought a new house. The bathroom has a small window inside the shower stall, which right now is covered by a venetican blind. Looks kind of dumb, gets wet and icky and blocks out the natural light from outside. We saw something at home depot... looks like a paper film you put over the window to make it look etched or like a stain glass window. It's pretty cool, but it's $20 and the box has a lot of it. The window is pretty small so we don't need that much. Seems kind of silly to pay $20 and only use 1/3 of it.
So I was thinking is there something I can buy at the craft store that is similar? Maybe a spray type of thing? It can't be permanent, so no etching stuff. I was also thinking of making it so there are some spots that are clear (circles maybe) using stickers and then peeling them off.
Any ideas?
