Deal of The Day

I've been hunting for a sewing machine for about a month or two now, with no real luck, except to buy one online. I had my eye on a Brother xl 2230 because it was in my price range, but today I found a better deal. I went to my local sewing shop, also a Bernina Dealer. I knew I couldn't afford their machines, but I went in to ask if they had some ideas on where to look for a machine more in my price range. ( I am new to this area.) Yadda, yadda yadda....I found a Bernina Bernette 90e (http://www.berninausa.com/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441868331) (gently used) for $99. I checked online on my phone to see what they are priced as new. Around $465 new. Now I don't know if any of you know about Bernina's, but they are a good standard brand, and I am really excited to have a sewing machine...finally! The cool thing about the place where I bought my machine is that they will give me free classes on how to use it. Yay! Anyway...Just wanted to share the good news. happy crafting!
