More recycled decorations
Oct. 3rd, 2007 04:51 pmI've added to the pumpkins (just one) and made a few ghosts and a couple of other things.

The newest pumpkin is on the bottom step. Smug little bastard, ain't he?

I've relocated the scarecrow girl and sat her on my daughter's tractor (much to my daughter's irritation) because she fell over after a hard rain and now she's a bit heavy. She'd like to sit a spell.
But also, you can see the flying ghosties I made. They spin and swerve around on their thread lines when the wind catches them. I heart it.
Would you like to meet them?
Yes. You would.

This is the first I made. He's very surprised to be out of the graveyard.

This guy just wants a little rest. But he can't have it yet.

This hardcore chick is rebelling. She refuses to say "ooooooh" or "boo" or anything. Bitch.

This is the Boo-Brarian. She's sick and tired of all the undead wailing and wants a little silence.
There will be more ghosties as we do go through quite a bit of milk and OJ.
I'm addicted to making them.
My Dad, the "reverend father", saw them today and got irritated.
At least they're not scary. Whatev.
Next is this little luminary I made out of a Lipton instant tea container.
He's fabulous.

I cut his ears, mouth, nose and eyes loose so they'd glow a bit with a candle inside and when I did, my daughter got mad at me. "LEAVE FRANKIE ALONE! STOP POKING HIM!" she said. Priceless.
He's so misunderstood. He just wants to be loved.
and I do.
Finally, there's this flower my husband gave me the idea for.
It's not for the Autumn season, but just because.

It's just a 3 litre bottle, cut up, rolled, etc...
and a flower pot, rocks, and a 25-light strand from christmas.
Plug it in and Voila!

Shiny.
I'm having so much fun with this stuff.
