Some advice please

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting here though I commented on some posts before. I love all of the creations posted here and hope to be able to make them myself someday.

Today, I made a necklace out of some acrylic loops (I'm not sure what they're called exactly) that I found a week ago. The finished necklace can be seen under the cut.









My problem is that the necklace looks unfinished when it's worn, like it's too bare and plain? I don't know if it's just me or there really is something missing. I'd really appreciate comments and suggestions. Thanks!
