If you wanted to put some memories together in a locket (and by memories, I mean multiple photos and bits of writing - say, four to six bits of paper in a locket that only fits two), how do you make that look cool and pretty? I'm thinking of trying to tape all these things together with tiny bits of tape and have it fold out like an accordion, but that probably wouldn't look all that nice. Any other ideas?
Similarly, if you were to do the same kind of thing, but with decoupaging pictures, writing, printed words and other assorted things into a book, how do you make that look pretty? I've done a few pages, and I managed to put in the things I want, but they still look plain. I was thinking of maybe applying a thin layer of water colour paint to fill in white spaces, and maybe even over writing (would pencil or ink show through underneath it?) to make it a bit less drab. However, I don't know if watercolour would show over decoupage medium. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help.
