Cartoon chokers & fairy dust necklaces
Oct. 7th, 2007 09:01 pmMade out of chunky pastel glass beads and charms taken out of my sister's old keychains. Nothing complicated, they're pretty simple and straightforward.

I felt a little bad about having to poke a hole into his antenna to put the jump ring through. Poor fella...but he turned out okay.

There were supposed to be bells at the bottom of the flower but I took them off and replaced them with an acrylic bead and wrapped green seed beads around it. Sort of of looks like a cactus blossom now.

Added at 2:30AM. Oh yes, I have been a busy bee ^-^
I wanted to make fairy dust necklaces like the ones sold in stores but didn't have any of that powder they used, so I thought seed beads would be a nice substitute.

I was aiming for a butterfly perched on a rose but ended up making this one look like an embellished-to-an-inch-of-it's-life perfume bottle.
