Oct. 17th, 2007 10:01 pmSo, anyway, for anyone wondering why my post randomly disappeared and then reappeared, the pictures were the wrong size. I got a mod note, but I was at work, and didn't edit it in time. So, I'd really like feedback and stuff for this, if you wouldn't mind. *hates my life* *really hates my life*
So, my camera has disappeared. I was thinking about replacing it some time in the next year anyway, since it has this funny habit of deciding not to focus in low light and eating batteries like I go through Milanos, even when compared to my sister's camera or my mothers. Luckily, one of my friends let me borrow his to get some pictures.
Alarmed Kitty Patch!

D&D dice bag...

Hand-warmer, starring Fluffles the Cat. (S)He's part of a series of rubber stamps my mom owns, and (s)he's freaking adorable. The purple thread is not so good.

My watering can. It cost 99 cents at Goodwill, possibly because it's ugly. The ivy leaf I added myself. Half of it is firmly attached to the teapot, and the other half is sticking out. Why? I don't know. I also don't know why the brown side lost its color while the green side kept it. Oh well. I'm a college student. I have learned the art of extreme BS. It symbolizes the death of nature in our society when you try to pin it down. Of course.

Incomplete stuff. Dumb, I know, but it sometimes helps me get motivated on a project when I know others have seen my crappy half-done stuff.
My favorite camo pants got a giant rip going from my crotch to my rear. I'm cross-stitching the words "Kiss me right here" across the rip, and outlining the lines of the camo pattern similarly. If your wondering what the hell I'm doing it on, that's part of a window screen my dog ripped up. I expect it to be very sturdy, but it also just has a cool industrial feel to go up against the homey-ness of cross-stitching. It's not very far along, because I'm only doing it when I have time, and I never have time.

Three more rice bags I've barely started. (The stitching is crappy, but I don't care so much.)

Random Find to Play With!
I don't know what I'm going to do with them yet, but while walking around one of the buildings on campus, I ended up in the Slavic Languages office, where they were trying to get people to take a bunch of old books some former faculty left. So, I gave them a home. Until I mutilate them in some way. By the way, if you happen to notice that any of them are actually extremely valuable...please tell me before I get around to altering them.

Calculus in any language is still dumb.
