a mess of stuff
Oct. 21st, 2007 09:39 pmhi! i just joined and i thought i'd post some photos i have of various crafty things i have done, recently and in the past. one teaser photo, eleven more are behind the cut! click on a photo to see a larger view.

i drew this a few months ago in studio art 2 at my high school. it won an honorable mention in a local art show; my drawing was entered by my teacher. note that i am very terrible at drawing. lol.

my friend asked me to make her a purse out of spoons and duct tape for her birthday last year, so i complied. i loved making this. i had never made a purse before, but i think it turned out nifty.

i made this when i first got my third generation ipod (all 10 GB of it).

i made this necklace a few weeks ago. i make a LOT of necklaces and spend a good deal of time looking everywhere for large plastic beads. most of the beads in this necklace were bought at claire's in bracelet form, and then cut up. and sorry for the awkward photo, but i wanted to show how big the beads are.

omg, i apologize for that photo! but those were the only two i have showing the entire dress i made for my senior prom. i modded a dress my mom had from the late 70s. that was fun. i'm a terrible sewer. it turned out okay though.

i spray-painted the hubcaps on my car hot pink, because it's such an ugly car otherwise. they match my hair : )

i've spent 7 years working on "decorating" my room. this photo was taken last year, and now that i've moved off to college, the walls are BLANK because my sister's moving in. it makes me so sad when i go in there now, it was like a huge work of art to me.

i have a button press, and i made these for the senior class at my high school for homecoming. they aren't very crafty-looking, but when you have to make so many in less than 3 hours, you can't really make 'em that exciting.

this is my current duct tape wallet. note that this was taken two years ago, and i'm still using it. it's pretty beat up now, but it's still awesome.
thanks for reading!
