Leg Warmers?

Hi I am pretty sure this is my first post to the community, so if there is something wrong with it please just let me know :) I have stalked thos forum for quite a while so I am not -quite- a stranger ... anyways onto the question. 

I am looking to make some of those fuzzy leg warmers often seen by the raver types, I have massive amounts of "monster fur" and decided I might as well make myself a pair. However I am not too sure how to go about it, and I was wondering if anyone has seen such a tutorial, or if it would just be a simple thing to figure out and I should just go about hacking my fabric until I get it right.
