High fashion and mad science!
Oct. 30th, 2007 12:23 amFinally! I managed to surface from my frantic sewing and mad science long enough to post some pictures of the stuff!

My hubby modeling the fresh-off-the-machine vest, ascot, and cutaway coat. Pay no attention to the lower half of his body, or the t-shirt. :)

The vest, a McCall's men's pattern.

Detail of the brocade and button. (La Mode's Victorian replica buttons are beautiful.)

And now for something completely different...my sweet new Girl Genius Official Lab Goggles. My husband rocks my world and spoils me rotten. I'm also wearing my Heterodyne trilobyte cloisonne pin, but it's below the frame. I'm not a great photographer.
I have a couple other projects going that I'm slaving away to complete before Wednesday night, more in the "mad scientist" vein. (Ok, mad craftswoman. I leave the science up to my darling.) I'll just link you to the Flickr photo galleries, as they're works in progress.
