Spring resolutions
Mar. 22nd, 2003 01:22 amSo I've decided that my Spring resolution is to work on unfinished projects.
I was cleaning my garage the other day and came across the kaleidoscope that I had made awhile back. I finished the inside, but not the outside of it. I'm bummed because I no longer know where my how-to book got off to and I'd really like to make some more.
But anyway, I was hoping for some suggestions for finishing the exterior. As this was my first kaleidoscope ever, it's pretty basic, the body is made of PVC pipe. I was hoping someone might have some good ideas about how to decorate it.
Here's a picture of the outside and two of the inside:
(apologies on the inside pictures, I'm still trying to get the hang of taking pictures inside the scope)

So any ideas? And is there any one else in this community who make kaleidoscopes?
Oh, my other unfinished project is making my car into an art car, but that's another post.
