So today I was doing spring cleaning (yay!) and I found a WHOLE bunch of stuff. Let's see..
-my old bead loom (which was just a box with metal combs on each end - but hey, it worked)
-a whole bunch of those green plastic baskets that strawberries come in (what can I do with these?)
-my old POG collection (I used some round magnets I had left over from the marble magnet craze and made POG magnets)
-some fabric paint (yay!)
AAAND....
-my old Twirl-a-paint! ^^ This is the best site I could find with info on it (although they're talking about giant ones whereas mine is normal-sized), and the pictures at the top are the kinds of things you can make with this thing. Now, I know I'm totally out of cardstock, and the paint is dried up, but the actual twirly mechanism works fine as long as I can put in some fresh batteries. And obviously, the things you can do with splattered bits of cardstock are rather limited, but I'm sure you crafty girls can come up with new things to twirl or new ways of painting so I can give this old toy a new life.

Now if only I could find my Spirograph, I'd be a happy happy girl.

Now here are some miscellaneous notes.
1. My Slytherin (harry potter) scarf is coming along nicely. I've done six stripes, and the "pattern" calls for 17, but the pattern online made by that one girl (I lost the website but I'm sure it's out there somewhere) calls for 21, so I guess we'll see how long I feel it should be when I get there. So, um, yay!

2. I know a lot of you guys are in college right now. I'm a senior in high school and so I'll be going off to college in only a few months - scary! Anyway, as such, I've been touring colleges and stuff and looking at what dorm rooms look like and stuff....and they're TINY. ^^; So my question is to you guys and girls: how much crafty stuff did you bring to college, and WHERE the HECK do you find space to keep it?

3. To Candi (the girl I sent the camo fabric to): I'm sorry, I lost your e-mail address AND your LJ username - I'm so disorganized. Anyway, I received your money order about a week ago and sent the fabric out yesterday. Sorry for the delay (I was sick :(), but it should arrive soon!

4. I could have sworn I had something else to add, but alas, I can't remember what it was, so I guess that's all for now. :)
