Last month, I asked for help in finding the right font for something I was working on regarding the Indiana Pacers. (thanks to whomever it was who helped me out with the stencil, by the way! it worked great aside from human error on my part!)

Well, I've finished it.

My dad is a huge Pacers fan (originally from Indiana) and you can tell if you just walk into his office.

Since he's a fairly difficult person to buy for, I decided to craft his Christmas gift this year.

It's a shelf!

I got a plain wooden shelf from Hobby Lobby, sanded and primed it, then painted it with acrylic paints to match the rest of the office.

It's got 4 hooks (and he has 4 Indiana Pacers hats that he can hang on them).

And then I bought a plain cream colored frame from Target on clearance for about a dollar, painted it up and printed off a picture of him playing B-ball with my little girl.

Hopefully he'll love it.

Now I just need to figure out a way to frame the TV in the office with some plexiglass and make a "backboard". Maybe for his birthday in May.
