I bought this for the first time for a craft project I took out of the Better Homes and Gardens "Holiday Crafts" magazine. I'm doing the first one 'by the book', and I'll do something a little more personalized after that. However, the snowman I made this afternoon looks like he had a fight with Jack Daniels and lost!

The instructions do state to sand him after he's dried, but man... should it be this rough looking? I coated the styrofoam ball with white glue, as the instructions stated, and then applied the Celluclay. I smoothed it with a plastic knife (all I had), and after my first drying attempt, the bottom came off on the parchement paper I dried it on (as instructed). I applied some more and put it into the oven to dry again. It's dry now, and I'm going to try sanding it after the kids go to bed.

Any tips or advice? I did look in memories, and there was a couple of articles about papier mache, but nothing about Celluclay.
