Nov. 13th, 2007 12:19 amhey everyone! so here's my problem. i want to make my sister-in-law something special for christmas. she is such a great person and has always been such a wonderful sister to my husband. when we first met each other we didn't get along...at all! but, now, 6 years later, we've gotten a whole lot closer. so much so, that she was one of my bridesmaids at my wedding in june. during all the excitment at my wedding, i didn't throw my bouquet and still have it, intact. it's about 18 roses (dry of course) with long stems, bound together by ribbon. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of anything i can make with the roses? either with just the petals or with the roses as a whole? i came across a website once that showed how to make beads out of rose petals. i like that idea, but she doesn't really wear jewelery. i could incorperate the petals into some homemade paper. and then bind together a little book/journal. does anyone have any other ideas? thanks for any! and i'll definitly have to post pics of the finished product, when done :D
