Help! i'm knitting my first sweater (after many hats and scarves) and I'm up to the part with the neck. I'm confused..!!

The instructions state :
K26 sts. join 2nd skein of yarn (?) BO center 7 sts; k to end of row. Both shoulder sections are worked at the same time with separate skeins.
BO 2 STS at the neck edge at the beg f every other row until 18 sts rem on each shoulder.
Work 1" more in St st. Leave Sts on needle.

Ok I get that you need a second skein of yarn for the second shoulder section.. but I'm having trouble visualizing this going on.

Are there any videos or online photo tutorials on this?? I'm just having trouble getting my head around it.

I found this post over on GardenWeb (the craft portion of the forum) and the woman had a similar question.. but i don't understand the answer :(

WAAHHHH!! HEEELP!!!

Just so the post isn't ALL dull/WAAHH helpmehelpme, I'll post a photo.. I'm making the Skully sweater from the S&B book, but I'm not a Skully type of gal, so I'm going to use this for the sleeve

I downloaded some intarsia paper and sketched this out.. i have all the colors in a monster stash, and they're the same weight of yarn (or really close). I have a veg garden and wanted to do something with that theme. I was going to do a mouse skull with a trowel and cultivator (the forkey thing) for the other sleeve.

that's assuming I can finish the neck :(
