Art Car Progress!
Mar. 23rd, 2003 09:07 pmSo I stuck to my resolution and worked on my car this weekend.
These are only the first steps, but I'm very excited.
I found this picture of a moon that I decided to use as my model:

Here's the hood, sanded and primed:

I projected an image of the moon picture on to a piece of poster board, and then cut it out. I taped that to the hood of my car and spray painted the hood blue for a base coat. (I wish regular spray paint was as easy to use as priming paint). I will be doing a second coat with non spray-paint so I can get some texture and clouds. I will also be adding in some stars.
